Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (IGKV) is an Indian state agricultural university in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Indira Gandhi University was founded in 1987 and is named after the former Indian Prime Minister.
Undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes in agriculture, horticulture, forestry, veterinary and animal sciences, dairy technology, fishery science, and agricultural engineering are all available at IGKV. Agriculture, Horticulture, Veterinary and Animal Science, and Agricultural Engineering are the university's four faculties.
IGKV has a sprawling campus of 1065 acres, complete with modern infrastructure and facilities such as hostels, libraries, auditoriums, sports complexes, and laboratories. The university also has an agriculture research station, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, and Krishi Upaj Mandi for agricultural and allied science research and development.
