The twinning programme is an innovative educational concept which broadens the scope of educational programme by providing opportunity and access for candidates aspiring to pursue higher studies through distance mode blended with the characteristics of regular programme. It endeavors to strength and enhance the quality of higher education offered through distance mode. Admissions 2021 Highlights

Candidates can apply every year in the month of June/July through the admission portal - https://www.loyolacollege.edu/pulc/admissions# or can contact college’s office Phone No. 044-28178321/391.

  1. The duly filled-in application forms (2 sets) are verified along with all the necessary documents and 2 sets of photocopies of the same. The admission timing is 9:00 am to 12:00 noon only. 
  2. Bank challan is given along with the enrollment number. 
  3. Then the challan is to be taken and the fee is to be remitted at the IOB Bank (Bank timing is from 10:00 am ton1:00 pm only), situated behind administrative block. 
  4. The cash to be paid in IOB is ₹ 15,500 (Challan 1) and ₹ 5,600 (Challan 2) (For Admission processing fee ₹ 500, Maintenance charge ₹ 1,000, electronic communication and postal charges ₹500 ID card ₹ 100, Project Guidance ₹ 1,000, Life membership in Loyola Alumni Association ₹ 1,000 and Convocation ₹ 1,500). The total amount to be paid is ₹ 15,500 + ₹ 5,600 = ₹ 21,000
  5. After the payment, the candidate has to meet the coordinator along with this or her copy of the challan and gets admitted. 
  6. Students should bring the filled in ID form with passport size photo affix therein. 

 

Eligibility Criteria

A candidate is eligible for admission to the MBA programme, provided he / she possess any Degree from a recognized University under 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 or 11+2+2 streams. Applicants possessing degrees awarded by the Universities not recognized by the UGC are not eligible for admission.

Documents required

The candidates need to check that they have arranged the documents in the following order:

  1. Application Forms (2 Sets) with recent passport size photo affixed on the application forms. 
  2. 10th Std. mark sheet – Original and 2 photocopies 
  3. Plus two mark sheet – Original and 2 photocopies 
  4. U.G Degree Certificate – Original and 2 photocopies
  5. All the statements of marks or consolidated statement of marks – Original and 2 photocopies. 

How to Apply

Login to the admission website portal:

  • To create a User Registration, click the Apply Now icon on the home page.
  • The user ID and password information will be sent to your registered email ID. If you have forgotten your password, please press the reset icon on the login tab.
  • After signing into your account using your username and password, enter your CAT Username/XAT ID, personal information and upload your passport photo.
  • Enter your academic information and upload all supporting documentation.
  • Enter the details of your work history and submit the supporting documentation. Please include your reference details.
  • Confirm all information and submit your application form
  • Download and print the completed application.

Special Notes

  • For admissions, the concerned candidate must come in person, sending representatives for admission is strictly discouraged. 
  • Admissions will be on first come first served basis only.
  • Admissions will be done on all days of the week – Monday to Friday. (except of Government holidays).

Campus recruitment for the final year graduate and post graduate students started from Last week of July 2019.

Some of the statistics about the placements of Loyola college are:

Hostels 

Loyola College Society (LCS) started a Women's Hostel in the College premises in June 2011. Loyola Women's Hostel (LWH) offers facilities to girl-students of the various educational units within Loyola campus, namely: Loyola College (LC), Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA), Loyola College of Education (LCE) and Loyola Icam College of Engineering and Technology (LICET). Men’s Hostel is also there. It subscribes to the ideals and objectives for which the college stands, namely love of God and of fellow human beings, genuine learning, and responsible citizenship.

The Hostel is administered by Fr Director who is assisted by a team of Deputy Director and Assistant Director₹ Earnest and wholehearted cooperation is expected from the hostellers, parents, and guardians towards making the hostel a homely, enjoyable, and useful place.
