IIT MANDI COURSE OFFERING AND FEE STRUCTURE

IIT MANDI offers 33 courses in UG, PG, and Doctoral levels. The courses offered include MCA, PhD in Micro and Nano Technology, and many more. Multidisciplinary academic programs lead to BTech, MTech, MSc, MA, MS, Integrated MTech, PGP, PG Certificate, and Integrated Ph.D. programs. IIT MANDI BTECH

• The IIT MANDI BTech program is a four-year undergraduate course in different engineering fields. 10+2 with 60% marks is the minimum condition of eligibility. IIT Mandi offers BTech programs in Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and some of the advanced fields of engineering and technology.
• The JEE Advanced is the entrance examination to the BTech program of IIT MANDI. It is one of the toughest entrance tests in India which is conducted by IITs. To get into BTech of IIT MANDI, a student must at least rank in the list of the top 15,000 JEE Advanced rank holders. Through the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA), a counseling process for admissions is done.

Citing its reputation of being a pioneer in technical education, IIT MANDI has published its Placement 2023 Report. The IIT MANDI placements in the year 2023 recorded a total of 201 companies visiting the college campus. Of the total 255 BTech students, 207 were successfully placed in the IIT MANDI placements drive of 2023. Besides, there were 75 PPOs, a significant increase from 56 PPOs in 2018. • Institute Merit-cum-Means Scholarships for BTech students: MCM scholarships are awarded to Gen/OBC students at IIT MANDI who have excelled in the test qualifying examination. The rule for admission in the first year of B.Tech students is the All India Rank in the JEE Advanced. The scholarship provides each student with an amount of INR 1000 per month and is also waiving the tuition fee. The sum is for one year and is due from the semester the registration date is in the Odd semester.
• Institute Scholarship for SC/ST students under the BTech program: The IITM scholarships for SC/ST students are inclusive enough to offer free room rent and a monthly INR 1000 allowance to BTech students.
• Institute Merit-cum-Means Scholarships for MSc and MA students: The institute offers stipends every month and tuition fee exemptions for Gen/ OBC students under the scheme. In the course of five months, for example, August to December and February to June, a monthly stipend for MSc and MA students is given. IIT MANDI provides the students with an INR 1000 per month stipend in the second semester. INR 2000 per student per month to those in the third and fourth semesters who qualify.
• HTRA Scholarship for MTech, and MS students: The HTRA scholarship is awarded to the MTech and MS students of IIT MANDI who are also assistantship holders with HTRA. This scheme is for the MTech/MS scholars who are given INR 12,400 amount.
• HTRA Scholarship for Ph.D. students: Following MHRD and DST guidelines, IIT MANDI has INR 31,000 for its JRF in its first and second year. INR 35000 to Senior Research Fellow (SRF) for the third, fourth, and fifth year.
