The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi offers multiple undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG) and doctoral (PhD) programs. The IIT Delhi M.tech department offers a two-year full-time master's/postgraduate degree course in biomolecular and bioprocess engineering. In the IIT Delhi M.tech program, two-thirds of the credits are coursework and one-third are thesis-based.

3).  Master in Science [M.Sc]

IIT Delhi offers a 2-year master's/postgraduate degree program in full-time mode only. The institute accepts admissions into this program from the IIT JAM entrance exam. Additionally, candidates must have passed a bachelor's degree with at least 55% marks in the relevant field.

4). Master of Surgery [MS]

Master of Surgery or MSc is a postgraduate course offered at IIT Delhi that provides comprehensive knowledge and skills in surgical training. It is a three-year postgraduate medical course that can be done after completing the MBBS course, students can choose to do a Master of Science program in Medicine or a Master of Surgery to specialize in the medical field of their choice.

5). Ph.D.

The doctoral program consists of full-time and part-time students offered at IIT Delhi. The department currently has approximately 200 researchers. • The scholarship amount of INR 1,00,000 covers half the tuition fee and the award is for 4 years only.

Scholarships for MSc Students

• This scholarship is offered to 2-year MSc program students in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, and admission to these programs is done through the Joint Admission Test for MSc (JAM).
• The scholarship is awarded to students with a family income between INR 5,00,000 and 9,00,000.
• Students are selected at the time of admission based on their JAM rank and continuation into the 2nd year is contingent on their securing a CGPA of at least 7 in the first year.
• The scholarship of value INR 50,000 per annum is for 2 years only.

IIT Delhi Campus Overview

The IIT Delhi campus location is the primary campus built in Hauz Khas, South Delhi with Sonipat and Jhajjar being the two satellite campuses and the campus area is 325 acres. The IIT Delhi student accommodation complex consists of 14 student hostels named after the Indian mountain range. It is divided into two main sectors – one for 11 boys hostels and another for 3 girls hostels.
