Vel Tech University (VTU) is a private institution in the Chennai suburb of Avadi. It was founded in 1997 as Vel Tech Multi Tech Engineering College and was given university status by the University Grants Commission in 2008. (UGC). The institution offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees in a number of engineering, management, law, science, and humanities-related subjects.
