IIT Bombay has a seat intake of 360 students in their 11 courses of the MSc program. The two-year course offers seven specializations at the postgraduate level. The various departments offer the following specializations in Master of Science degrees:

After completing two terms, students can opt for any of the winter projects for a duration of one month.

Jointly with Washington University in ST Louis, the School of Management SJMSOM in IIT Bombay offers an Executive Master in Business Administration. IIT Bombay BDes and MDes

The IDC School of Design in IIT Bombay offers undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, and dual degree programs. At the UG level, the four-year program of BDes spans eight semesters. IIT Bombay Admission Possess 2024

The IIT Bombay admission process is based on highly competitive exams like JEE Advanced, GATE, UCEED, etc. Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria and obtain scores within the cutoff range are granted admission to various degree programs.

• The eligibility criteria for IIT Bombay Course Admissions in undergraduate programs is a minimum of 75% aggregate in 10+2.
• For BTech, candidates must clear JEE Advanced, and after securing a good rank, they must register and fill in their choice of course and college for JoSAA Counselling.
• After this, JoSAA authorities do seat allotment, and the finalized candidates are called for document verification and fee submission at the institute.
• For IIT Bombay Course Admissions in MTech, candidates who scored more than 75% in their 12th grade and graduated from a reputed university with more than 60% aggregate are eligible for admission.
• For admission to MTech and other dual degree programs, students must also have valid scorecards for JEE Advanced, and GATE, and attend COAP counseling.
• IIT Bombay course admissions for the MSc degree are conducted through the IIT JAM examination.

IIT Bombay Cutoff 2024

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority releases the IIT Bombay cutoff for admission in BTech courses in the form of “opening rank” and “closing rank” across the total rounds of counseling conducted. These counseling are conducted after the JEE Advanced examination based on the choice of college and course filled in by the qualified students.

IIT Bombay Internship

Students can get exposure to educational and professional research experience through the IIT Bombay internship award. A rigorous selection process is followed to shortlist candidates from the list of received applications. Any student in the second year of their postgraduate program or third to fourth year of their undergraduate program is eligible to apply. The candidate must also necessarily be among the top 10% in all their previous academic sessions.

• The selected candidates are required to work full-time on a designated research project for a duration of four to six months.
• They are also needed to submit a partial project report before the end of the internship. The opportunity for the IIT Bombay internship is only for full-time students who can dedicate working hours to the project.
• The interns are paid a stipend of INR 15,000 per month. However, they are not accommodated in the IIT Bombay hostel.
