Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is a UGC-recognized central public university accredited by NAAC with a grade of A. BHU is also ranked 5th and 11th in the NIRF 2023 rankings under the "university" and "overall" categories. Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has recently announced the release of three new scholarship for bhu students, one for the Faculty of Education, the Central Hindu Boys School, and lastly for the Central Hindu Girls School. The official press release stated that, the bhu scholarship received donations under its Pratidana initiative.
The institute said these scholarship in bhu were funded by the donation from corporate managing director Rahul Srivastava. The scholarship BHU are named after Srivastava's relatives, including Bindhyachal Devi, Madan Mohan Prasad and Bimla Srivastava.
