Assam Don Bosco University Admission 

1. Candidate need to first go to the university website and register yourself by using a mail id. 

2. After register, another site will open and you will see “Steps for Application”. You need to fill all the necessary details name, gender, address. 

3. Candidates have a choice to fill the application form online or offline. If the candidate chooses offline mode. They need to purchase the application form from university office. 

4. Application form fee is Rs. 600/- and candidate can pay the amount using net banking, Debit/Credit card. 

5. Candidate should take note that university will not accept cash or cheque for application fee. 

Assam Don Bosco University Admission 2021

University will begin admission for session 2021-2022 from may onwards. Candidates are required to wait until university declares admission notice itself. Also, candidates can visit the official website of the university. 

Assam Don Bosco University Admission Procedure

• Assam Don Bosco University conducts entrance test for every exam. Candidates need to clear the entrance for admission. All candidates are required to appear for the entrance exam at a given location. 

• Also, there will be an interview process after entrance exam. Candidates need to appear for the interview process as both are mandatory for taking admission to university. 

• Candidate should note that entrance exam or interview process will be held on the same day. The whole procedure will take around 6-7 hours. 

• University will give admission to students on the basis of marks obtained in academic and entrance/interview.

How to Pay Admission Fee 

1. DD in favor of “Assam Don Bosco University” need to pay at the mentioned address- Registrar, Assam Don Bosco University, Tapesia Gardens, Kamarkuchi, Sonapur – 782 402 or submitted in person at the University office at Azara or Tapesia.

2. Candidate can pay their admission fee via Paytm, PayU or Credit/Debit Card. 

3. Also, Candidate can pay using the university website. www.dbuniversity.ac.in/a.

Reservations

Along with scholarships, university provides reserved seats for Christian minority from Don Bosco Society related institutions. Reserved seats are made available according to the state government norms.

Assam Don Bosco University provides placement to every student. Every year, university witnessed top companies come to campus for placement. University provides quality placements to students. They have established a number of interactive processes that help them make switch from being students to being professionals. 

Also, university provides on-job training to graduates. They groom students for different situations. Students get a chance to ger an experience of what work life will be. 

University has a efficient team of counselors to guide students to choose their line of work. Counselors work with students to identify their areas of interest. This year, many IT companies came to recruit eligible candidates. 

Around 80% of the students were placed this year. The highest package offered was 4lpa, average package was 2.6 LPA and lowest was 1.6 LPA. The top roles offered to candidates were project engineer, program analyst etc.
