Fees: The IIT Roorkee Executive MBA fees total cost is determined by the course selected by the candidate and may vary. To complete the degree a total of 99 credits are required. These 99 credits can easily be earned over 5 years.

• The IIT Roorkee Executive MBA fee total cost is up to INR 10,93,000.
• INR 25,000 is required at the time of registration in addition to the above fees which are non-refundable.

Eligibility: Eligibility Criteria for IIT Roorkee Executive MBA are as follows and the candidate has to be eligible for any one of the three mentioned criteria should be followed:

• Graduation from a recognized school or college with 65% or more marks or equivalent marks (60% marks for SC/ST community members).
• Must have at least 4 years of relevant work experience after graduation.

IIT Roorkee MTech

About: IIT Roorkee MTech offers 41 specializations for Engineering graduates. IIT Roorkee BTech

About: The IIT Roorkee BTech department offers a four-year (eight units) Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) program. The Bachelor of Chemical Engineering program at IIT Roorkee is one of the best undergraduate engineering programs in the country. Admission of students to this program is through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE).

IIT Roorkee Phd

Eligibility: The eligibility criteria for the Phd program are as follows:

• Applicants with a Master’s degree under the General, GEN-EWS, and OBC categories should have a Minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 6.0 on a 10-point scale or 60% marks.
• SC / ST / PWD category should have a Minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 5.50 on a 10-point scale or 55% marks.

IIT Roorkee Admission Process 2024

Admission in IIT Roorkee is available for various UG, PG and PhD programs in departments 23. In most IIT Roorkee admissions the candidates are selected through national examinations conducted by each organization. The university offers BTech, MTech, MSc, BArch, M.Arch, MBA, MSc, PhD and associate and dual courses in Engineering, Science, Architecture, Management and Culture. Lately, IIT Roorkee introduced two new programs (PGP): Master of Design (Industrial Design) and Master of Modern Management (MIM). Along with this, IITR has launched two online certificate courses in data science, machine learning and AI.

• The institute offers admission to BTech programs with valid JEE marks and JoSAA counselling.

IIT Roorkee Internship 2024

Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee is a technological institute situated in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India. SPARK is a summer internship program that attracts top graduate talent from IIT Roorkee and across the country/world at IIT Roorkee summer internship 2023. The IIT Roorkee summer internship is a university-funded SPARK scholarship for training programs and project support in 2023.

This program was initiated by IIT Roorkee to provide research information to graduate students who are interested in summer. Students will receive INR 2,500 per week for 6-8 weeks. The training program aims to attract and nurture international graduate students across the country, the university said. Selected students will work on research projects with faculty from 26 departments and centers.

Eligibility

The IIT Roorkee summer internship 2023 has some eligibility criteria for students who are currently enrolled and have completed at least two semesters of the undergraduate degree (B.Arch./ B.E./ B.Tech./ M.Sc/MA) in a relevant discipline from any institute in India. The following minimum CGPA criterion will apply:

• For IITs/IISc: CGPA > 7.5
• NITs/ IISERs/ NISER/IIEST/UM-DAE CBS: CGPA > 8.0

IIT Roorkee Scholarships

IIT Roorkee offers various scholarships and financial assistance programs for students enrolled in various UG and PG programs. In addition to scholarships, the university also offers financial aid for education and research grants to help financially vulnerable students. Academically qualified students can also avail of IIT Roorkee Scholarships. Scholarship selection is based on several factors, including academic performance in extracurricular and extracurricular activities, family income, and merit.

1. MERIT CUM MEANS (MCM) SCHOLARSHIP

Under the MCM Scholarship, a UG student gets a minimum ₹1000 per month for 10 months per academic year along with a refund of the remaining tuition fee. An M.Sc. student gets a minimum ₹1000 per month for 10 months per academic year. It is available only for the normal duration of the program. For dual degree programs, it is available only up to the 4th year. Further, it is awarded up to 25% of the actual strength of the class.

ELIGIBILITY

To avail MCM Scholarship, a student must fulfill the following conditions:

• Applicant belongs to the General OR General (EWS) OR OBC category.
• The applicant is a student of B.Tech., B.Arch., Integrated Dual Degree (IDD), Integrated Master of Technology (IMT), Integrated Master of Science (IMS), and BS-MS programs admitted through JEE (Advanced) OR M.Sc. programs admitted through JAM.
• The Gross Income of parents (Father and Mother or Guardian) during the current assessment year is not more than Rs. 5,00,000/-.
• Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) and Yearly Grade Point Average (YGPA) are 7.00 or above (not applicable for fresh students).
• All registered courses have been cleared (not applicable for fresh students).
• The student has not been penalized for unfair means/ indiscipline.

SELECTION PROCESS

The following procedure will be adopted to select the students for the MCM scholarship:

• The SCSP office will invite applications for the MCM scholarship from the students.
• SCSP will verify the details and documents submitted by each applicant. 
• Defective/incomplete applications will be kept on hold for correction from the students’ side within a given duration.
• SCSP will also verify that the student is not awarded a similar scheme from some other source.
• SCSP will notify the list of students eligible to avail MCM scholarship.

2. JAMES THOMASON (JT) SCHOLARSHIP

Under the JT Scholarship, a UG student will get Rs. 25000/-  per month (for 10 months per year). JT scholarship is awarded for the entire duration of the program provided the student obtains a CGPA of 8.0 or above at the end of every academic year.

ELIGIBILITY

To avail JT Scholarship, a student is expected to fulfill the following conditions:

• Applicant is a student of B.Tech., B.Arch., Integrated Dual Degree (IDD), Integrated Master of Technology (IMT), Integrated Master of Science (IMS), and BS-MS programs admitted through JEE (Advanced)
• Applicant has All India Rank (AIR) in recent JEE (Advanced) up to 250.

SELECTION PROCESS

The following procedure will be adopted to select the students for the JT scholarship:

• The SCSP office will invite applications from the students.
• SCSP will verify the details and documents submitted by each applicant.
• Defective/incomplete applications will be kept on hold for correction from the students’ side within a given duration.
• SCSP will also verify that the student is not awarded a similar scheme from some other source.
• SCSP will notify the list of students eligible to avail JT scholarship.

3. INSPIRE SHE SCHEME

Scholarship for Higher Education (SHE) under the Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE) program, sponsored and managed by the Department of Science & Technology (DST), is offered to pursue undergraduate (UG) studies and continue up to postgraduate (PG) studies, based on Class 12th standard examination results (top 1%) of respective Boards or within eligible rank in chosen few competitive examinations such as JEE (main), JEE (Advanced), NEET (AIPMT), KVPY and securing admission in science stream (in any of science courses or their combination out of the 18 identified subjects) in any recognized College or University or Academic Institution in the country.

ELIGIBILITY

To renew INSPIRE-SHE, a student is expected to fulfill the following conditions:

• The applicant is a student of Integrated M.Sc. programs (II to V year) from the Department of Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics
• The applicant has availed INSPIRE Scholarship (SHE) in the previous year(s).

To fresher INSPIRE-SHE, a student is expected to fulfill the following conditions:

• first-year students of BS-MS and M.Sc./Int.M.Sc. programs from the Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics Departments
• Inspire (SHE) having All India Rank (AIR) in JEE (Advanced)-2021/Joint Admission test for Masters (JAM)-2022 up to 10000.

SELECTION PROCESS

The following procedure will be adopted to select the students for INSPIRE (SHE) for Freshers:

• The SCSP office will invite applications from the students. SCSP will verify the details and documents submitted by each applicant.
• Defective/incomplete applications will be kept on hold for correction from the students’ side within a given duration.
• SCSP will also verify that the student is not awarded a similar scheme from some other source.
• SCSP will submit the list of students eligible for renewal of INSPIRE (SHE) to DST.

4. DR. S.K. GOEL AND MRS. KUSUM GOEL SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship is to support four (04) financially constrained undergraduate students entering the Institute. The scholarship amount is Rs. 2.0 lakh each per year. Starting from the year 2022, one new eligible student will be selected for this scholarship every year. From year 2025 onwards, there will be four awardees of this scholarship. The selected candidates will continue to get this scholarship for the normal duration of their program (four years), provided they maintain a minimum CGPA of 7.5 at the end of each academic year.

ELIGIBILITY

• All General and OBC category students of B.Tech., I year having their annual family income between Rs. 5.0 lakh to Rs. 6.0 lakh.

The following procedure will be adopted to select the students for this scholarship:

• SCSP office will invite applications from interested students at the individual level along with proof of their family income.
• The list of eligible students will be sorted in ascending order of their family income and top applicants will be selected for the award of scholarship.

5. ​SHRAMAN FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship is to support about 30 financially constrained undergraduate students. The scholarship amount is Rs. 70,000/- each per year.

ELIGIBILITY

• All General and OBC category students of B. Tech., B.Arch. or Integrated or Dual degree programs taking 2/3 Tuition Fee Waiver, but not availing of any other similar scholarship.

SELECTION PROCESS

The following procedure will be adopted to select the students for this scholarship:

• The SCSP office will invite applications from interested students at the individual level along with proof of their family income.
• The list of eligible students will be sorted in ascending order of their family income and top applicants will be selected for the award of scholarship.

6. SCHOLARSHIPS TO DISADVANTAGED STUDENTS PURSUING ENGINEERING EDUCATION

This scholarship is to support two disadvantaged undergraduate students. The scholarship amount is USD 1000 (INR 83,135.50) each per year. The selected candidates will continue to get this scholarship for the normal duration of their program (four years), provided they maintain a minimum CGPA of 7.0 at the end of each academic year. At least one scholarship will be given to the female student if she meets the criteria.

ELIGIBILITY

• All General and OBC category students of B.Tech., I year taking a 2/3 Tuition Fee Waiver, but not availing of any other similar scholarship.
