MAT 2021: Exam Dates Dec Session (Out), Registration (Open), Eligibility, Pattern & Syllabus, Result, Cut Off

MAT 2021 Exam dates for the December session have been announced by AIMA. Also, MAT 2021 Registration has started for all 3 modes, i.e., IBT, PBT, and CBT, on September 29, 2021. As per the schedule, MAT 2021 PBT mode will be conducted on December 5, 2021. For MAT 2021 CBT mode, 2 exam dates have been released: November 21 and December 19. MAT 2021 exam for IBT mode will be conducted on 6 dates from November 27 to December 18, 2021.

The MAT exam or Management Aptitude test is a business entrance exam conducted four times a year by the ‘’All India Management Association or AIMA’’. Tests are held in February, May, September, and December. Applications for the MAT exam open two months before the exam. Students must check the eligibility criteria and fill up the application before the due date.

  • Aspirants with a dream to join the best business schools in India can apply for the MAT exam. The mat exam syllabus comprises MCQ-type questions from various subjects like English, Global environment, etc. A good test score naturally paves the path to join a business school and achieve success!
  • Students can appear for the MAT exam in three different modes: computer-based, paper-based, and internet-based. CBT is conducted in 31 cities, while the PBT is conducted across 54 cities. 
  • The Internet-based test is a home-based test. Candidates give the exam from any comfortable location. 
  • The mat exam tests the aptitude of students and prepares them for business working environments and quick decision-making. 

Candidates must check their eligibility criteria thoroughly before applying.

  • All candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a university. 
  • Students in the final year of their graduation can also sit for the MAT exam. 
  • Aspirants who have a CA, ICWA, or CS score can also sit for the exam. 
  • Applications that don’t meet the required criteria will automatically get rejected!

The most recent mat exam date, 2021, is on 14th Sept for the IBT pattern. Here is a look at the revised mat exam pattern.

There are 200 questions in total. The time given in total is 150 minutes. Each question has one mark. There is a 0.25 negative marking for an incorrect answer! Extra time is given to PWD students.
